Learn to cook K-food featured in Hallyu dramas

Hallyu Cooking Class is currently accepting registration for all hallyu fans! Hallyu Cooking Class is an experience program that teaches participants how to cook Korean food that featured in Hallyu dramas, such as, “Dae Jang Geum (2003),” “My love from the Star (2013),” and “Descendants of the Sun (2016).”

Eighteen pre-registered international tourists can participate in making various Korean foods. The cooking class opens on 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, between 11:00-13:00, at Baekseol Cooking Studio in CJ CheilJedang Headquarters.

The first part of the program consists of participants learning to cook by watching a demonstration from a certified Korean food chef. After the demonstration, the participants can each go to their cooking areas and make two different dishes using a recipe provided. After the participants finish cooking, they can move to a separate dining area, where they can try out their food. The total time of the program lasts 120 minutes (2 hours). The program is held in English for the convenience of the participants.

Hallyu Cooking Class offers cooking class for food popular among tourists, such as bulgogi, bibimbap, gimbap, pajeon (Korean pancake), and provides new themes every month.
