To promote Korea tourism and the upcoming PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, the Korea Tourism Organization is currently holding “I am waiting for me in Korea” event. The ongoing event will be rewarding selected participants with a mini-3D figurine of the participants themselves! These 3D figurines will be displayed at Sangsang Stadium as “PyeongChang 2018 Cheering Members” during the Olympic period while they wait for the actual event participants to arrive in Korea.
Previously, an on-site event was held from September 28 to October 1 at Insa-dong in Seoul, Korea and from November 6-8 at ExCel London in the U.K. However, those who missed the on-site event or anyone interested can now participate through an online application! The online event is currently ongoing and accepting applications until November 30 at the event’s official website.
Selected participants will be given the chance to have a 3D figurine made of the participants themselves. Additional prizes such as a roundtrip flight ticket to Korea, accommodation gift certificates, and PyeongChang 2018 mascots Soohorang and Bandabi dolls will be given away to several lucky winners.
