Lotte Tower Fireworks Festival kicks off on Apr 2

Lotte World Tower will be hosting a fascinating display of 30,000 fireworks on April 2 at 9 p.m., the night before their grand opening, at the Lotte World Tower Fireworks Festival.

Lotte World Tower will mesmerize visitors with fireworks that light up the night sky in accordance to eight different background music of diverse genre such as jazz and pop, along with the fascinating musical fireworks display at Songpa Naru Park (Seokchonhosu Lake). The fireworks display is expected to gain the attention of many domestic and international visitors as it will continue for 11 minutes, longer than the world famous fireworks display held at Taipei 101 tower in Taiwan (5 minutes) and Bruj Khalifa in Dubai (10 minutes).

Before the anticipated fireworks display take place, various K-pop celebrities will entertain visitors at a special performance stage nearby Lotte World Tower. Featured celebrities include D.I.A, Hong, Jin-Young, DJ DOC, and others. Recreational activities and prize giveaway events will be held after the fireworks display at 9:10 p.m.

The fireworks display will light up Seoul’s night sky with a theme of “Miracle of Korea,” and will be visible from any observatory spots in Seoul, including the areas of Songpa Naru Park, Olympic Park, Ttukseom Hangang Park, and even while on aboard the Hangang River Ferry Cruise.
